Chartered and funded by the Yonkers Kiwanis Club in March of 2023, participating individuals residing with Ferncliff Manor, Inc. have formed the Kiwanis Aktion Club of Yonkers. Each initiated member plays a role in supporting the needs of our immediate communities and its members as part of the Aktion Club team. To date, the club has taken on the following projects: Raised money to support and purchase supplies for the Westchester County Diaper Bank Raised money to support scholarship funding for the Yonkers Kiwanis Club.

Raised money to purchase backpacks and supplies for a Kiwanis sponsored residential summer camp. Represented the Kiwanis and Ferncliff Manor in raising awareness for Autism at the Westchester/Putnam Autism Speaks Walk. Coordinated a drive to provide books to Little Free Libraries in the cities of Yonkers, Ardsley, Ossining and New Rochelle, NY. Overseen and advised by regional Kiwanis Clubs, Aktion Clubs are the only service clubs for people with disabilities sponsoring over 10,000 members worldwide.

The Kiwanis Aktion Club of Yonkers welcomes
